Big Salmon River Trip
Quiet Lake to Little Salmon with a stay at our cozy trapping cabin!
An iconic Yukon wilderness canoe trip that starts in the heart of the Big Salmon mountain range and finishes on the wide waters of the Yukon river. A challenging river for intermediate paddlers that includes twists and turns, fun wave trains, and scenic rock gardens. This river offers a great variety of scenery, great fishing, and the chance to view abundant wildlife. A truly remote Yukon river trip.
Our family has operated a trapline on this river for years and James knows the river well. Your trip will include a stop over at our cozy cabin where you can help (if you desire) with the summer preparation of a Yukon trapline.
Food on the river is delicious and nourishing for your active days in the canoe and while on hikes away from the water.
